The Sarnak have made camp in this region. They are extremely hostile and territorial, attacking any adventurer who crosses their path. The Sarnak usually travel in groups, but when one is caught alone, he will often cry for aid from his nearby companions who will quickly join the fight.

A great monster of ancient origin is said to dwell within the Lake of Ill Omen's depths, swimming through the calm, warm waters in search of prey. It is rumored that many an adventurer has dove into the waters only to never be heard from again.
