As many of you know, the Trolls have taken their discontent out into Lavastorm. They fight to see who will be the new leader of Clan Grobb. City officials are telling all citizens of Neriak that are not Trolls to stay out of Lavastorm until the "decision" has been made. Dragoon Zyll made this comment:

The Trolls normally will destroy their city holding this tournament to elect a new leader. Of course, we couldn't allow them to destroy Neriak so we found this to be the best of solutions for all."

It has been very difficult to get close enough to really see the progress of these tournaments, but we have seen a larger than normal troll win time and time again. This Troll remains unnamed and stands head and shoulders above any of his kin.

We asked a local vendor their thoughts on the Troll tournaments:

If you ask me, I say good for them. Maybe they will end up killing each other off so we won't have to worry about them anymore and I can get back to work. Besides, they smell and they ruin everything they touch. I wish they would hurry up and get this over with."

The Troll way of holding election is barbaric and violent, but if it helps to reduce the violence from them in the Foreign Quarter we should do everything in our power to help end them with their balloting.
