It's all over. The Trolls have destroyed the Froglok defenses and taken Gukta. The brutes can be seen laying about all over the swamp, guarded for the moment by their more alert Dark Elven allies.

The scene is tragic, the worst we've ever seen. The dead lie all about with no one to bury them or send them to their gods with the proper rites. Hundreds have fallen in this battle, many of them adventurers that chose to aid one side or the other in the conflict. The decisive moment came when Warlord Ykesha took the field and began to cut Frogloks down one blow at a time. None could stand before him.

The only good news to report from Innothule is that some of the Frogloks have retreated to find safety away from the battlefield. Wounded lead the young and infirm through the swamp to a safe location that we will not reveal. A few reporters were given a statement from Elder Gritib.

Gukta is important to us, certainly, but our people are more important. Our ancestors and our hope are important to us. We will not betray either by giving up."

Elder Gritib also sent his thanks to those that came to aid them in this desperate battle.

We are honored that others were willing to sacrifice their lives for ours. We regret that we failed them."
