They have all been slain. Jaren, Shan, even Paragon Ereshar is no more, their bodies torn and devoured. What came over those beasts? We fell back through the eastern tunnel, but they followed us! They fought their way through the sentries stationed there, claws tearing through heavy armor like cloth, and continued their hunt for us! In my few skirmishes with these beasts I have never seen them so singularly focused, so blood thirsty.

They hunt me still. I shamed my company and fled as my fellow knights and squires fell around me. I pen my own doom in hopes of redeeming myself in the eyes of my lord before they fall upon me. I beg your mercy, Ocean Lord, please allow me to choose my own death within your depths.
