Coirnav is the Avatar of Water, and is a unique avatar in several ways. Where most avatars are extensions of a single deity, Coirnav represents three at once, possessing the power and will of the entire Triumvirate of Water. In addition, while most avatars simply resemble lesser copies of their parent deity, Coirnav is a unique creation, appearing as a massive chimera of various sea creatures.
When mortals invaded the Plane of Water in their quest to free Zebuxoruk from imprisonment, the Triumvirate manifested the Reef of Coirnav as an aspect of the plane in which to battle the interlopers, with Coirnav himself leading the defense.
