First Sisters of the Blackfeather Harpies Vol. II
In the distance, the four spoiled and hungry Elddar sisters traveling in Goru'kar Mesa smelled roasting meat. The unmistakable savory smell. They all cast their spells of invisibility and left their shelter, following their noses. In the distance, they saw the flicker of fire between branches and walked hastily toward it. They snuck closer in and Eletyl pulled back the branches that obscured their view.
They all jumped back in fright. There, sitting on a massive stump, was a giant. A huge carcass was roasting over the fire -- Eletyl presumed it was a wolf. The four sisters backed up until they believed they were out of earshot.
The elves were so hungry they decided they would wait and see if the great giant fell asleep after eating, something Ashrana always did. And sure enough, some hours after devouring most of the meat, the giant lay down on bed of furs.
That's when the elves snuck into the camp and looked through the giant's camp, scouring for fresh food and meat. They took as much as they dared without waking the giant, some meat, fruit, and nuts. Gayatri took a large hide for them to use in their shelter.
And so the four sisters returned each day after the giant slept, taking a little more food and more supplies each time. After six days, they had a full and impressive camp and full bellies. They actually began to enjoy the forest.
On the seventh day, the elves once again stole more than they needed. Each remarked how odd the meat tasted. Even the fruit seemed a little sour. They were barely halfway through their meal when they all began to feel their eyelids grow heavy. One by one, they fell into a fast, deep sleep.
