Akhevan

The Akheva are an immortal race of physically and magically powerful beings created by Luclin, the Goddess of Shadows, to act as stewards of her eponymous moon.

Physical Description

Akheva are an intimidating presence for most other races. Other than their towering height, their most striking features are their four arms and curved horns. Akhevan bodies tend to be slender, but lined with wiry muscle, while their skin is deathly pale and their eyes are blank and without visible pupils. Their teeth are small, but wickedly sharp.

While they are an androgynous race on the whole, there is some differentiation between genders. Female Akheva tend to be somewhat taller and more strongly built, while males are somewhat shorter and more slight (though still much larger than, say, humans).

Society

Though they live on the Material Plane, Akheva are more like beings of the Planes of Power in their culture and mindset. Their society is strictly regimented and entirely devoted to worship and service of Luclin.

Akhevan culture is matriarchal, with Aten Ha Ra as the absolute ruler. Individuals are born into specific castes which determine the role they will fulfill in society.
