Despite repeated warnings, the Human enchanter, Neppr Failmez, entered the city yet again. He almost made it to the catacombs when his spell of invisibility failed to hide him from the sentries. The enchanters of Norrath have plagued our city ever since the rumors of the ancient staff, The Xolion Rod, started spreading. The Empire has tried to quell this rumor to no avail. Drozlin has set a trap for any of these finger wigglers who get past the sentries.

If you see an enchanter in the city, notify the nearest guard. All invading enchanters and their mates will be executed on the spot.

~Attack on Neriak~

News reports coming in from our Neriak and Nektulos Forest scouts tell of an attack on the largest Troll clan now living in the Dark Elf city. Clan Grobb's leader, Bortar Ripkiller, was the obvious target of the raid on Neriak. While no Dark Elves were injured in the attack, the Trolls have lost their leader.

Rumors of a riot are spreading. While the Dark Elves do not seem overly concerned, everyone else has made a hasty retreat from the city and the outlying forest.

Reaction to this news in our city is one of slight concern. One citizen had this to say, "If these invaders could so easily enter Neriak and slay the Troll leader, where will they turn their sights next?"
