After drilling downwards at a five-degree angle for the better part of two-and-a-half years we've finally located a cavern large enough to warrant exploration. Alas, our burrownizer dug into the cavern's ceiling and now lies smashed across the cavern floor. To be honest, most of us are just glad to be out of that blasted thing.

According to Navigator Hobbeson we are are somewhere beneath Antonica, likely below Nektulos forest. Of course Navigator Hobbeson was the first member of the crew to begin talking to himself since we've left Ak'Anon so his scientific opinion must be weighed accordingly.

Regardless of our location, we have encountered a cavern teeming with all kinds of unknown life forms. Tomorrow I will set out with my trusted walking stick, fiddlebrump measure, zimminfezer sample pack, and this notebook. I'm sure the Ak'Anon council has dispatched a rescue crew to find us, but until they do, I intend to extensively document the life forms of these caves.
