1. Seek ye all forms of knowledge. Know the differences between acquiring knowledge, embracing knowledge, and abusing knowledge.
2. Embrace not the forms of knowledge that advance lower states of existence over higher ones.
3. Embrace not the knowledge that damages the world for some small and fleeting boon.
4. Improvements to understanding which are worthiest of intellectual consideration are always gentle and beneficial to all.
5. Complicated thoughts must constrain to be both beneficial and fruitful. Idle thoughts are unworthy of a developed intellect.
6. Goods which are garnered from intellectual exercises must belong to all, or greed and divisiveness will spread throughout the people and ruin their unity.
7. Knowledge that compels destruction is indistinguishable from hatred.
8. Hatred is a cruelty upon the intellect. Distortion of one's own intellect is the greatest of self-inflicted crimes.
9. Conserve and defend ALL knowledge.
10. Intellectual processes which follow these rules will yield greater affinity with the gods.
