It was a simple matter, really, to fashion the ice in such a way as to lure wild animals in the menagerie. I'm not sure why I never thought of it before. The shards are designed to reflect light and as wind passes across the ice it will generate a dissonant howl. A cougar will be stupefied by the sights and sounds of this place and then it will venture too close and tumble inside. -M
