Time has always been on my side. My magic has held death at bay for countless centuries so that I might further my studies. Recently, I have been unable to ignore the signs of my physical end. Death draws ever nearer. So many years have I frittered away, studying the abstract when my attentions should have been focused toward extending my existence. Time is no longer on my side.
