~ Bortar is Dead! ~

Word has been spreading fast that Bortar Ripkiller has been killed. As most recall he was the leader of Clan Grobb. Little is known about who killed him, but reports indicate that it was a band of adventurers. Their motives are also unknown at this point. Reactions to the news show that despite general enthusiasm for the death of a terrible enemy, a couple of citizens appear to be a little uncomfortable. This is what Frizt had to say about the news.

Although the Trolls are getting their just deserts, it is hard not to feel some pity for them. I hope that eventually they can find peace and Truth."

This rift in the power structure of Clan Grobb is causing a lot of harm to the Dark Elves of Neriak. The Trolls seem to be in a state of panic and have started to riot in the depths of Neriak. Only the strongest and bravest of Dark Elves still travel where Clan Grobb Trolls live.

We looked for someone in power to speak to in Neriak about the Troll riots but none of our responses were acknowledged.

The Elders believe that the state of affairs in Neriak is a good sign for Gukta and any that despise evil. As long as they battle each other they grow weaker. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
