Strangers in Innothule

We have news on the recent battle that several witnessed in the Swamp of Innothule. The disturbance was first brought to light by Kretim of the Fly Shop who claimed to have seen several High Elves traveling through Innothule Swamp.

I first didn't think much of a bunch of High Elves traveling through the Swamp. Then after a while I felt a cold chill down my spine and for some reason I decided to see where the High Elves had gone and what they were doing around this area. It was then I realized that something evil was happening."

Kretim then informed the local guards of the High Elves' activities. The guards, led by Commander Frizt, went into Innothule Swamp to prevent their activities.

When we arrived at their encampment we were surprised to see some adventurers that were protecting them. You could feel the evil coming from those dark rituals. The adventurers must have been highly paid or evil mercenaries because it would be impossible to not feel what was going on."

The fight lasted nearly an hour, but in the end the High Elves were successful in their dark rites. Several reports claim to have seen a huge troll rise from the swamp to be lead off into the mists by the High Elves.

Officials from Felwithe have denied any involvement in this incident by any citizen of Felwithe. They have even gone so far as to declare that there were no Koada'Dal in the swamp that day at all.

As we obtain new information on this we will print it. Until then, there is no reason to be alarmed.
