Reports for Nektulos have come in telling us that Trolls are fighting Trolls for control of the Grobb Clan. All information coming out of that area is sketchy and we have been unable to get anyone into the area to verify anything. It has not been confirmed that a new leader has risen from the battle to take control of the clan, nor has any name been attributed to this new leader. When asked to comment on this, self-proclaimed Troll expert Basten Ghunret suggested that this might have been a controlled riot.

This could be a very bad sign for those that oppose such evil as the Trolls represent. When Bortar was killed the Trolls must have been in complete disarray. Some scholars speculated that they might cause a lot of damage to Neriak before a new leader was found. But if what you have told me is true then it is obvious that the Teir'Dal intervened successfully. If this battle did indeed happen outside of the city and so many days after the death of Bortar, then it must have been the Teir'Dal that made that happen. Traditionally, Grobb was virtually destroyed during the battles for succession when a leader died."

Rats can be seen roaming the streets at all hours of the day. These pestilence-ridden rodents are a danger to the citizens.
