~ Innothule OccurencesOccurrences: Swamp Gas or Gnomish Weather Balloon? ~
Norrathian adventurers have been reporting strange sightings and activities in the Innothule Swamp as of late. Adventurer accounts of the sightings ranged from "a massive object rising from the swamp water" to "an unusual series of bright flashes in remote areas of the swamp". Responding to these reports, Guktan officials advised visitors in the area NOT to drink the water from the Innothule swamp.
We - froaaaaaaaak - realize that the local water is quite intriguing, but we advise only visitors with the most seasoned of - froaak - stomachs utilize the water as any form of sustenance. Bathing in the water however is highly recommended."
In possibly related news, explorers passing through the swamp have noticed a band of High Elves performing what appears to be a sort of ritual. The purpose of the ritual could not be determined as adventurers in the area attacked any outsiders entering the general vicinity.
Local Shar Vahl residents expressed little interest in the happenings in Innothule Swamp. Barkeep Rawlf of the local tavern said that "None of the stories I've heard from adventurers visiting Norrath compare to the stories I've heard from those that have visited The Grey in recent years. It's probably nothing more than swamp gas or a Gnomish weather balloon causing the strange sightings."
~ Fire Dancer Gets Too Close ~
Just outside the Shar Vahl city walls, fire dancer Ciera had an unfortunate accident. While performing the ritual of the Loda Kai to help ward the bothersome creatures, Ciera overstepped her routine maneuver and managed to catch her tail on fire.
At first I didn't notice; I was so caught up in the moment of the dance. Luckily, Sentry Har Kalaf was paying close attention and responded immediately by throwing water at my hot tail. It was so romantic how he took care of me after the accident."
