History: Antonius Bayle II (2915 - circa 2974)EQ2 Atlas was a ruler of Qeynos. Rising to the throne at age 36 (in 2951)EQ2 Atlas, he was responsible for changing the name of the continent of Tunaria to Antonica in honor of his father. By all accounts proud (it was apparently not lost upon observers of the time that Antonica just happened to bear his own name as well), he was responsible for presiding over the rule of Qeynos at the dawn of the Age of Turmoil. During the upheavals and unrest that began during his reign, including the Erudite uprising that saw many an arcane summoner depart Erudin, Antonius the Second became known as The Great Defender.

It can be assumed that Antonius II was indeed given the famous Antonius name at birth, based in part upon the fact that a common perception at the time of his rule was that Antonius II named Antonica as much for himself as for his father.http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/news_article.vm?id=50941&month=052008
