DoNCultBook2Drakkin
Drakkin culture is an interesting blend of their dual origins. There is strong influence from their draconic parents, but an almost equally strong influence from their human parent.
With this dual bond, they use the basic materials of their human ancestry, but instead use symbols of strength from their draconic heritage. These symbols are more complex, and display a deeper history of the dragons, but continue to do so in a simple manner that is easily understood. Among the pages of discussion about these symbols is a pattern. This pattern reuses the most powerful ancient complex symbols and melds them with basic symbols in a way that produces an image that appears both timeless and fresh. It conveys to the viewer the strength of draconic history moving into the future. You know that you will be able to reproduce this pattern many times before the book becomes worn and you must replace it.
To create patterns for tailoring and smithing armor templates based on these patterns you will need this book, a large bottle of ink, a roll of good quality vellum, a quill and a compacted backpack to hold the patterns you will make. You'll also need a book binding to do the work.
