Warlord Ykesha Returns
Shar Vahl Tribune:: }-------------------------} Vol. 9 No. 7 ~ Warlord Ykesha Returns ~
In many ways, Ykesha never really left. His descendants in Clan Grobb have always shown the same high monarchical ideals and low tolerance for insubordinate Trolls. If the information we've received is true, his return to power among the Trolls is extraordinary. Trouble is destined for all who oppose Ykesha's will. We consulted local experts on these rumors to learn more about the implications of the latest in Norrathian political events. Historian Sharar had this to share:
For those that fail to recall Troll history, Warlord Ykesha fell from power not long before the Outpost of Marr was ordained. Prior to his fall, Ykesha believed himself to be destined to be the Grozmok - he who would unite all Trolls through Fear and Hate and then topple the empires of Tunaria. Fortunately for our allies, his aspiration never came to fruition and the empires remain unperturbed. If these rumors are true and Ykesha has returned, this could spell trouble for the empires of Tunaria. Perhaps his destiny to be Grozmok was so powerful that it surpassed death and his time has finally come. If this is the case, may honor guide our Tunarian friends through the inevitable tragedies that lie ahead."
~ Invasion Army In Motion ~
Shortly after the finalizing of our previous article, an emissary on behalf of the Freeport Temple of Marr delivered the following address to King Raja Kerrath:
Your highness, the Temple of Marr seeks your audience on a dire matter. An invasion size army has departed Neriak for what seems to be Gukta. Hundreds of Trolls and Dark Elves are setting up camp in Rathe Mountains and the southern portion of the Desert of Ro. The army has split into two for what seems to be a strategic flanking maneuver on the city of Gukta. In response, the Frogloks have amassed a large defensive force, but cannot withstand a battle on two fronts. They have asked for help in any way, shape, or form and asked that the message be relayed to the honorable King Raja Kerrath and his people."
Following this message, the King dismissed the public audience and sought council with his ministers. No official word has come from the King on this matter.
