Rolfron Zek

God of despair and adopted son of Rallos Zek, Rolfron Zek is a lesser god who is seldom worshipped outside of the kobold race, which he was once a member of before his ascension. He is also known as the Hollow God and the Lord of Despair.

In mortal life, Rolfron was a powerful and devout shaman of Brell Serilis, creator and former patron deity of the kobolds. When the Duke of Below abandoned the kobold race in favor of his newer creations, he, along with the rest of his people, was overcome with incredible sorrow and despair. Rolfron, however, formerly Brell's most fervant worshipper among the kobolds, was the most heartbroken of all, and his despair completely overcame him. It was then that Rallos Zek took notice of the kobolds, descended to Norrath, and walked among them. Coming upon Rolfron, the Warlord took the shaman back to the Plane of War with him and granted him a portion of his own divine power, forging him a sword from the blackened remains of his despair-rent soul. Thus did the Lord of Despair come to be, and now he forever lingers in Rallos' shadow, inflicting the suffering and sorrow that now comprises his very existence on the victims of war.
