Underfoot: Unfolding the Lore The Cooling Chambers Water, boiling from the lava that is the life's blood of the Underfoot, pours into the Cooling Chambers from a sinkhole in Brell's Rest. The water is cooled by Brell's servants as it flows through the chambers and eventually grows cold enough to turn to ice.

Underfoot: Unfolding the Lore Brell's Rest Brell's Rest is the place where the worthy of Brell's worshippers go when their time on Norrath ends. Some worshippers are given places amongst those of the Underfoot, to work on the world, but few find such a thing to their liking. Many spend their afterlife in an "ideal" setting for their race.

Finally after months of research I have come to the conclusion that the wall placed deep in our home was brought to life by the touch of Brell. My studies have led to proof that this is indeed the door to the Underfoot and as such I have began to figure out ways to extract and harness this power.

This power has taken over. I did not expect it to be so hard to control. Now every piece of stone I see talks to me. While the others see lifeless slabs of stone, I see living entities begging to be released.

Underfoot is the name of the plane ruled by the god Brell Serilis, sometimes known as the Duke of Below. His plane is believed to be a veritable warren of caves and caverns, tunnels and underground lakes. Brell is thought by the dwarves to have been their creator, and is worshipped by those diminutive beasts.

The Duke of Below and The Lord of Light’s Battle An ancient tale recorded on mithril to stand the test of time. Long before the clay of life was molded into the first dwarves by Brell Serilis’ strong hands, Veeshan’s brood dominated Norrath. Their reign had lasted for eons but it had not gone unchallenged.

Underfoot: Unfolding the Lore Arthicrex Built by a race of ant-like creatures known as the Cliknar, Arthicrex is the great anthill of the Underfoot. The interior of Arthicrex itself is composed of winding circular tunnels and circular rooms, built from mud and trimmed with stone and chitin.

Underfoot: Unfolding the Lore Lichen Creep Lichen Creep is a lava-veined cavern that has been slowly mined out over eons for the valuable levitating stone ore that is used to power various creations in the Underfoot.

Underfoot: Unfolding the Lore Brell's Arena Located just off Brell's Rest, Brell's Arena is a small battleground that was created by Brell Serilis to allow the gnolls and kobolds to "play" a vicious game known as the Boomerang Brawl. This unusual game is run by Gilbot the Magnificent, a gnomework creation of Brell.

You receive this book during the quest Black Swill for Blackswell, however it's in an archaic dwarven dialect, and unreadable. The Least of Brell’s Creatures By Dugan Stoneaxe Brell, the Lord of the Underfoot, brought a great many proud and noble creatures to Norrath.
