In the latest of unsettling events from Norrath, the Elves of Greater Faydark have undergone heavy casualties after several major waves of attacks from the Crushbone Orcs. Guard Tangleroot of Kelethin tells us more about the recent events of Norrath:

I was on the night watch guarding the Kelethin weapon cache when the assault began. I could hear the faint sound of a horn not far to the north; no doubt by our rangers on patrol near Crushbone. I knew that sound could mean only one thing - Orcs. Most of the guards scrambled to form their battalions, but I stayed behind. Any other assignment that night and I may have suffered the same fate as many of my comrades - may Tunare guide their loved ones through this difficult time. Unfortunately, the Orcs managed to plunder or destroy many of our other storehouses. It's no coincidence that this terrible event comes on the eve of our supply run to Innothule, but what role do the Orcs play in all this?"

Local military analysts following the recent events in Norrath are puzzled. "Dark Elves attacking Freeport, Orcs siege Greater Faydark, Frogloks preparing for war;, it just doesn't add up," one such analyst commented. "No strange occurrences reported in or around Shar Vahl. Good enough for me!"
