Followers of Tunare believe that we are all Tunare's children. The children of Tunare seek to help Norrath, which they believe to be a living and breathing Being, to blossom and grow.

Followers believe that the world of Norrath gave birth to

Tunare and from her all life has sprung forth. Thus, by worshipping and protecting the land, followers are paying homage and respect to The Mother of Their Mother, who in turn protects and provides for them. Followers of Tunare will fight to the death to protect nature in all it's forms.

Many Druids, Rangers, and a great many Elves follow the ways of Tunare.

Echoes of Faydwer Lore

The great dragon raised his head and sniffed the air, his eyes scanning the forest around him. Though the lands were quiet, something was different. He could sense a presence approaching from very direction, as if coalescing all around him. He walked outside the stone ring and paused, recognizing her at last.

Greetings, Mother." He spoke in an ancient tongue.

She walked towards him out of the mist, her emerald gown trailing behind her. Flowers sprang up where her feet touched the earth. "Well met, watcher. It pleases me to speak to you at last."

Your presence is unexpected," he told her. "I am not used to entertaining such esteemed company."

She bowed her head slightly and smiled. "Long have you stood there within the Wakening Lands, defending your ring against those who come here to do harm. Though you were sent in the service of Veeshan, you have been of great benefit to me as well. For that, Wuoshi, you have my thanks."

This forest is my home," he told her. "I care little for the politics and machinations of the Claws or the Ring. That, as much as any reason, is why I accepted this duty. It is here that I belong, amongst the trees and vines, protecting them from the lesser races."

Overview

Drawn from The Code of the Koada’Dal (Introduction) compiled history.RPGCommunity article · best available source

When the Lord of Fire scorched Takish-Hiz and the very soul of the elven people, it is said that Tunare wept so that the winds blew and the mountains shuddered. Upon those winds, her tears were carried over the sands and across the waters to the east. The elves followed the divine winds, and they did feel their Mistress’s pangs within their own hearts. The lives lost to the great scorching and to the long journey that followed are never to be forgotten.

It is said that each elf who perished, whether from hurts of the body or grief of the soul, was taken into Tunare’s arms and given the balm of her blessed tears, so that she or he might at least be made into a shining, unburdened spirit. These spirits we can still see today, each a star in the

night sky, shining to remind us of our proper place here upon the earth. Each precious star will forever be mourned.
